Each Saturday during September there will be a street market held in the grounds of the Adega winery in Lagoa.
The market will open each day from 10am and run until 3pm with stalls selling handicrafts, books, antiquities, jewellery and other items, while there will also be German bratwurst sausages and wine available.
Organiser Rolf Osang said: “The street market is meant to be a social event for people who want to walk around and see beautiful things, the way they are used to on market days in England, Holland, France or Germany.”
Entrance to the market is free and ample parking is available in the Adega complex while the gallery will also be open for guests to visit.
For the first two Saturdays (September 3 and September 10) there will be no cost for stall holders.
However, after this promotional period the cost will be €15 per stall.
