The President of Lagoa Câmara Francisco Martins has issued a press release thanking all those who helped clean-up storm damage throughout the borough after the high seas at the beginning of the month. Câmara staff, local GNR police, firemen, civil protection services and residents banded together to help clean-up the town after huge waves caused havoc on Monday January 6 – and Martins declared he could not help feeling proud and very thankful.
