A tender for the construction of a new water pumping station in Alporchinhos has been launched by Lagoa council. The station will be linked to Porches reservoir, making it possible to extend the supply network to Caramujeira while reducing costs, the council has explained. The work will cost around €483,000 and take around six months to complete as soon as a company is contracted.
