Lagoa is going to invest over €1 million to set up more modern rubbish bins in the municipality.
The decision was approved in a meeting on June 21.
The new bins, which store waste in underground containers and allow residents to recycle more easily, will be set up in areas where “existing conditions are not the most correct in terms of sanitation”.
