The Grand Jeté International Dance Awards are returning to the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium in Lagoa between July 13 and 15.
The event is an international dance competition featuring Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance styles.
“This event aims to promote the art of dance, allowing young dancers to showcase their talent and connect with audiences,” the local councils says, adding that it also provides masterclasses, educational opportunities, and scholarships to “prestigious dance institutions”.
Students and dancers of all nationalities between the ages of five and 25 take part in the event.
Tickets cost €3.50 for each competition session and €10 for the Gala, with a 20% discount available for holders of Lagoa’s Cultural Passport, Social Card, or the Rota do Petisco 2022 passport.
