The event is an international dancing competition that features young dancers aged five to 25.
“It is an event that aims to promote the art of dancing, allowing young dancers to showcase their talent and connect with audiences,” says Lagoa Council, adding that it also provides masterclasses and opportunities for scholarships at “prestigious dance institutions”.
The event will begin with a solo competition on Friday, May 28 at 10am and 3pm, followed by a duet and group competition on Saturday, May 29 at 9.30am and 2.15pm.
Tickets for each session cost €3 and can be purchased online at www.ticketline.sapo.pt
The event will come to a close with a charity gala on Saturday, May 29 at 8pm, which will feature the winning dancers as well as special guest dancers from Noja-Nebyla Stage Education in Vienna, Austria.
Tickets cost €8 and can also be purchased online. The gala will also be streamed live on Lagoa Council’s YouTube page.
