Lagoa will be honouring its patron saint Nossa Senhora da Luz on September 8, the day the municipality celebrates its local holiday.
Commemorations include a religious procession scheduled for 7pm at the Igreja Matriz, two concerts on September 7 and 8 – both starting at 10pm – and a small traditional fair in front of the local church. Everyone is welcome.
