Lagoa will soon have its own BUM (Balcão Único Municipal), a one-stop-shop with an unfortunate abbreviation that will host most of the local council’s services and make them easily accessible for local citizens.
The new office will be located on the ground floor of the local council and should be up and running in December.
Around €210,000 has been ploughed into renovation work so that the council building can host the BUM.
