Lagoa Bombeiros receive donation

The Village Inn Restaurant in Mexilhoeira da Carregação, Lagoa, has donated €300 from its sale of second-hand books to the Lagoa firefighters. Owner Kathie Lancaster said: “We would like to thank everyone who made this possible by giving us books and those who bought them. Every little bit helps. The firefighters work very hard and are mostly volunteers so we should be very proud of them.”
