The events offer plenty of entertainment, free train rides and great Christmas shopping opportunities.

The city of Lagoa is hosting its Christmas Fair between December 8 and 11 at the Largo do Auditorio Municipal. Carvoeiro follows suit with its fair from December 16 to 18 at the Largo da Ermida in Praia do Carvoeiro.

Dozens of exhibitors are setting up shop in seasonal market huts for the two events, offering a variety of products. The fair also promises plenty of entertainment for children with music and inflatables.

During the days of the fairs, market-goers will be able to get around town on a little train that circulates through the city of Lagoa (every 30 minutes), and the village of Praia do Carvoeiro (every hour), free of charge.

These will be days of great entertainment, Christmas spirit and plenty of opportunities to do your Christmas shopping.

The fairs are organised by the Lagoa and Carvoeiro Parishes Union and Lagoa City Council.
