Lagoa and Carvoeiro celebrate St Martin’s Day

St Martin’s Day is going to be celebrated in style in Lagoa and Carvoeiro, with each town hosting its own St Martin’s Fair.
Staying true to tradition, roasted chestnuts and traditional ‘Jeropiga’ wine will be at the forefront of activities.
Festivities begin in Lagoa on November 15. The fair will take place on Rua 25 de Abril between 9am and 1pm, with Carvoeiro’s fair taking place the following day alongside the beach between 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
Both events will feature live music, children’s playing areas and stalls selling regional produce.
The fairs are organised by the parish union of Lagoa and Carvoeiro and supported by the Carvoeiro Scouts group (Agrupamento 1331), the ESPAMOL school group and Lagoa council.
