Lagoa Académico Clube has joined the global humanitarian effort to help the people of Ukraine and is encouraging people to bring donations to the club’s handball matches on Saturday (March 5) at Pavilhão Municipal Jacinto Correia in Lagoa. The matches will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
The list of suggested donations is extensive and includes medicine and medical supplies, such as bandages, band-aids, betadine, cotton, sterilised gloves, hydrogen peroxide, biaffine, sodium chlorate and much more.
Non-perishable food such as water, powdered milk, canned goods, pasta and rice, salt and sugar, power bars, biscuits and chocolate and baby food are also on the list, as well as diapers, baby wipes, sleeping bags, shoes, shocks, underwear, and animal food.
