Krazy World Zoo in Algoz will be reopening on Saturday, May 9 after having closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
For now, the zoo will open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and visitors are only allowed to visit the animal areas and gift shop.
There will be one daily show with animals, which the zoo says “will respect all necessary safety precautions concerning Covid-19 in order to guarantee the safety of visitors and animal keepers”.
Krazy World’s restaurant and other attractions will remain closed for now, but drinks and snacks will be available on a self-service basis from the gift shop.
“Our terrace, as well as all other outdoor areas, will ensure social distancing and comply with all hygiene and safety regulations,” says the management.
Ticket prices have been reduced, costing €7.50 for adults and €5 for children aged four to 10. Membership cards are also available for €17.48 (adults) and €14.98 (children).
The use of a mask inside all areas of the park is mandatory and only card, MBWay and online payments (for the purchase of tickets) will be accepted.
