An impressive new kitchen showroom has recently opened its doors in Lagoa.
Klass Cozinhas, brainchild of Karl and Ann Marriott, is the culmination of months of research in the Algarve.
“We realised that the cost of kitchens in Portugal is very high and we wanted to offer the Portuguese and expatriate communities something affordable, yet still of the highest quality,” says Ann.
The shop, located at the Parque Empresarial do Algarve, next to First Stop, is fully stocked with some of the most stunning kitchens around from all over England, where Karl and Ann have found the best prices for the highest quality.
All of the kitchens on display are in stock, something that isn’t usually the case elsewhere.
“People usually have to wait weeks and weeks for their new kitchens to be delivered, yet if you buy from Klass Cozinhas, you can take it home today, if you want to,” says Karl.
The company has a number of fitters they can recommend, although Karl does fit kitchens, having worked in the industry in the UK.
A variety of flooring is also available, including solid wood and laminate, as well as tiles, particularly granite tiles, of which they currently have possibly the biggest stock in Portugal.
Klass Cozinhas also offers a computer design service to clients, enabling them to see what their new kitchen could potentially look like.
Having battled their way through a mound of bureaucratic paperwork, Karl and Ann are pleased to have finally opened the showroom just a few short weeks ago.
“People are already popping in to check us out,”says Ann, “it’s been really hard. We’ve literally put everything into the business so we hope it is a success.”
