AN ALGARVEAN athlete from the Arena de Faro, Dorisa Peres, will be competing for the national team at the Wako kickboxing World Championship between November 26 and December 2 in Coimbra.
Known as Miss KO, Dorisa Peres has a history of 14 competitive fights, 14 wins, eight of which were through knock out.
“The best fighters of the world will be in Coimbra and Dorisa Peres will be with them,” said Walter Pestana, Arena de Faro’s Technical Director. “She will compete with the intensity and the determination that characterises all the fighters from Arena de Faro.”
