VARIOUS SUMMER activities, to suit all ages, are currently taking place at Faro Island Beach. The programme of activities is being organised by the Centro Náutico and is set to run until September 1.
Sailing, windsurfing and canoeing lessons are being offered on various days and can be booked by calling 289 819 348. An entertainment programme is also available for children aged six to 12, from 9.30am to 11.30am and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, on various dates throughout July and August (call previous number for exact timings).
For energetic types, aerobic gymnastic classes will be offered throughout July and August (except on July 20, 21, 22 and 23). The elderly haven’t been forgotten, and keep fit classes, suitable for the less agile, are taking place in front of the bridge next to the beach, from 8.45am to 10.15am, everyday until September 1 (except on July 20, 21, 22 and 23).
