Birthdays come and birthdays go, but for Trishell Gill and Chelo Sánchez their second ‘birthday’ is proving rather special.
It’s two years since they took over Justwhite, the bedroom and bathroom essentials business which they have made their own.
In that time, they have moved the business on to a new level of success, partly due to their recent relocation to larger premises next to Casa do Campo restaurant in Almancil.
It has been a springboard taking the business forward, along with two well-stocked warehouses, an online catalogue and the introduction of new bedding packs in basic, comfort and luxury styles.
All this in time for their April ‘birthday’, marking the date they acquired Justwhite.
“White is the colour which implies that which is pure, fresh and clean,” explained Trishell. “But there are also some very practical reasons for choosing it.”

All bed linen and bath towels can be mixed in any of your bedrooms and bathrooms to cope with demand. New bed linen and towels will match existing items. There is no need to keep sets separate for each room and, importantly, all bed linen and towels can be washed together without the risk of colours running.

So, that’s the philosophy and the practicality of it all, but all these factors are not, on their own, enough to spell success. That comes from the personal touch which ensures clients know they are important and highly regarded, whether they visit the premises or order online.
“We have created a great delivery and customer service team,” said Chelo. “They all have the same helpful and enthusiastic attitude. Customer service has been our number one priority.”
The girls reckon that all this, coupled with the fact that they now stock new, top brand English beds for immediate delivery, including Silentnight, Sealy and handmade beds from Pocketspring, has ensured their second birthday is a significant and successful milestone in the Algarve business world.
