The Casuals’ juniors played their second match in the Junior Hockey League against Carris, on Saturday. They went a goal up after 10 minutes, when Alexa Kodde converted a cross from Jeremy Pringsheim. Thijs Franken added a second from close in, but Carris pulled a goal back before half-time. Despite both sides fighting hard, the second half remained goalless. Michael Whiston made some fine saves in goal and Thijs Franken capped a good performance with a goal line clearance to give the Casuals a deserved 2-1 win. Their next game is on April 16. B.H.
