June imports and exports down; deficit swells to €1.5 billion

Portugal’s exports and imports of goods in June were down by 3.4% and 7.6% respectively on the same month a year earlier, marking the third month in a row that these have fallen, with the country’s deficit swelling by €136 million to €1.522 billion, reports INE (national statistics institute) today.
