A VERDICT in the case that sees five men accused of murdering Irishman Michael Ahern has been postponed until May 9.
Albufeira court clerk, Carlos Figueira, said that days before the verdict was scheduled to be read out on April 27 he was contacted by presiding judge Hermengarda Vale-Frias to move the date. He said no reason had been given for the postponement.
