Jorge Costa says ‘No’ to Algarve return

Former Portugal international Jorge Costa has turned down an offer to manage Olhanense for a second time.
In 2008/9, Jorge Costa, who captained FC Porto under José Mourinho, took Olhanense to the 2nd Division Championship title before moving on to Académica.
The management team at the Olhão-based club has now drawn up a short list of candidates – António Conceição, José Mota, Carlos Brito, Quim Machado, Lázaro Oliveira and Bruno Saraiva – with the intention of appointing a new boss within the next seven days.
Bruno Saraiva had a brief spell in charge when he kept Olhanense in the top flight at the end of the 2012/13 season.
