Almancil International Rotary Club (AIRC) has announced a joint initiative with Rotary Club Loulé and the Freguesia of Almancil to provide dental treatment for a young girl in the area.
The treatment was to replace the teeth of the girl who attends school in the Almancil parish after her own teeth became so deteriorated that they had to
be removed.
Soren Hojbjerg, president of AIRC, said: “This is the sort of project we like to become associated with. We were particularly pleased to be asked to join the Rotary Club Loulé and the Almancil Freguesia in providing funds for treatment for this young lady and we are looking forward to similar joint projects in the future.”
