Johnson & Johnson single-shot vac only available to over-50s

In yet another ‘adjustment’ to vaccination protocols, the secretary of state for health António Lacerda Sales has announced this morning that the Johnson & Johnson single shot vaccination will only be administered to people over the age of 50. Only nine days ago his ‘boss’ health minister Marta Temido announced there would be no age limitation for access to this vaccine (click here). Explained Lacerda Sales, Portugal is simply ‘following international recommendations’. “These plans are adjustable, and always have a permanent, progressive adaptation to what Science is giving us”.
