FORMER LIVERPOOL footballer John Aldridge is to host his annual Charity Golf Classic Tournament in the Algarve next month.
Funds raised at the event, which is being held from October 11 to 15, will help the Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin and Portuguese children’s charity Núcleo de Educação da Criança Inadaptada (NECI), based in Praia da Luz, which cares for underprivileged children.
The tournament is being played on the Palmares golf course at Meia Praia, Lagos and other famous faces set to take part include former Scotland international and Chelsea player David Speedie, television presenter Daithi O’Se and Jamaican footballer Vince Earle. The tournament is being sponsored by Oceânico Developments for the third year running.
