Presented by the Boavista Golf and Spa Resort in Lagos, the annual John Aldridge Classic Golf Tournament took place on October 21 and 22.
Former player of the Liverpool Football Club, John Aldridge, hosted the event. The two-day competition attracted 60 players from across the Algarve and the UK.
To conclude the tournament, players and guests attended an evening with dinner and entertainment.
Dedicated to raising money for charities, the Classic raised a total of €5,750. The sum will be donated to local Luz-based charity, NECI, an organisation assisting the needs of children with disabilities. In addition, the Temple Street Hospital and Alder Hay Children’s Hospital in the UK will also benefit from the money raised through the event.
