Jobless teachers

A 44% increase in the number of teachers signed on at employment centres was registered this year in July compared to the same month in 2012. Last year, 10,221 teachers were unemployed and had enrolled in the employment institutes during July. Last month, however, the number rose to 14,714, according to data from the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP).
