A Portuguese photojournalist who was unemployed has won a World Press Photo award that is expected to open a few doors in the labour market.
Daniel Rodrigues won first prize in the Daily Life category of the prestigious competition for 2012.
The winning photo captured a group of youngsters playing football in a dusty field in Guinea Bissau.
