Jim Player, one of Algarve’s longest established residents, died in Santa Maria Hospital in Faro on Sunday, November 18.
Jim had been hospitalised for six months following an incident that took place on May 7.
Jim put up a fantastic fight in his battle to recover from the head injuries he received, but eventually succumbed to pneumonia and neurological complications.
A “Send-Off” party is being organised for Saturday, December 8, so family and friends can gather to share all their funny stories about Jim – the venue is to be confirmed.
