PRAIA DA Batata in Lagos will be playing host to the Lagos jet ski prize challenge this weekend (July 2 and 3), a contest which is part of the 2005 national jet ski championship, sponsored by Fosters. The event, organised by the Federação Portuguesa de Jetski and the Clube de Vela de Lagos, represents the fourth championship trials in the Closed Course discipline and the fifth Endurance trials in which around 60 riders will take part. This promises to be an extremely competitive contest and a great aquatic spectacle! The trials begin at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday, and the prize-giving is expected to take place at 5pm on Sunday.
