AUTHOR OF Looking for Gabriel, Jerry Stivers, will be at Algarve Arte in Almancil to explain how he came to write his book, which contains true travel stories and vignettes, gathered from living and working in 14 countries on five continents. Each story contains his black and white photographs, many of them have featured in exhibitions. The author will read selected stories and personally sign and dedicate all books sold. Jerry has lived in central Algarve for 18 years and is well known to many residents. The book reading is taking place on July 29, at 10.30am.
• Algarve Arte is located in Rua 5 de Outubro, two doors down from the only Farmácia in Almancil. Coffee and cake will be served.
