This year’s third ‘Jazz nas Adegas’ event which was due to take place this Friday and Saturday (October 30-31) at the wine cellars of Quinta dos Vales in Estômbar, Lagoa, has been postponed due to the borough lockdowns which will be in place at the time.
Now, the jazzy wine event featuring the Edgar Caramelo jazz quartet will be held the following weekend on November 6 and 7.
Tickets already purchased for October 30 and 31 will be valid for the November 6 and November 7 events, respectively.
Meanwhile, the last ‘Jazz nas Adegas’ event is scheduled for November 13 and 14 at Paxá Wines, with live music courtesy of Chibanga Groove.
Tickets cost €12 and include wine tasting, tapas, a voucher to visit Silves’ castle and archaeology museum and a bottle of wine. They can be purchased online (https://cmsilves.bol.pt) or at Worten, Fnac, El Corte Inglés, CTT, Pousadas de Juventude and Quiosques Serveasy.
Silves Council, which organises the initiative, says the events are “even more intimate” now that attendance has been reduced in order to follow Covid-19 recommendations.
