WOODY ALLEN and his band will be the main attraction at the New Year’s Eve party at Casino do Estoril, in Lisbon.
Woody Allen and his New Orleans Jazz Band is composed of Woody Allen (clarinet), Musical Director Eddy Davis (banjo), Conal Fowkes (double bass) , Robert Garcia (drums), Cynthia Sayer (piano), Simon Wettenhall (horn) and Jerry Zigmont on the trombone.
Since the 1970s, the band has played every Monday night in New York, first at Michael’s Pub and currently at the Carlyle Hotel. During the summer of 2004, the band played sell out concerts at Peralada in Spain, the Monaco Red Cross Gala and Berlin, Stuttgart and Munich. In recent years, they have also performed in Spain (Barcelona, Salamanca and San Sebastian) and in France (Paris and Vienne) and Italy (Rome). Portugal has now the pleasure to receive again Woody Allen and his jazz band in a night to be remembered.
The concert attire is formal dress and the casino has a strict over 18s policy.
