After a three-year hiatus, the ‘Lagoa Jazz Festival’ is again returning to the delightful natural setting of the Sítio das Fontes in Estômbar between June 5 and 7.
Organised by the local council and ‘Ao Vivo – Espectáculos e Eventos’, the festival, now in its 10th edition, will bring a number of national and international jazz groups to the Algarve.
Taking to the stage on June 5 will be PianoBatuque (Argentina/Portugal) and Torunski Brothers (Poland), followed by the Thierry Eliez trio (France) on June 6 and Marta Hugon 5teto (Portugal) on June 7.
Jazz lovers attending the festival will also be able to enjoy a painting exhibition, a record fair, bar service, lounge area and DJ sounds into the night.
Tickets, costing €8 for one day and €20 for the three days, can be purchased at Lagoa’s Convento de São José, the municipal auditorium or “at the door” in the Sítio das Fontes.
The festival opens each day at 7pm, with concerts starting at 10pm.
