A photographic exhibition entitled ‘TOHOKU, The Great East Japan Earthquake’ will be on show at the Centro de Interpretação of Vila do Bispo from May 28 to June 8.
Sponsored by the Japanese Embassy in Portugal, the National Civil Protection Authority and Vila do Bispo Câmara, the exhibition marks the first anniversary of the violent earthquake which caused widespread damage to towns on the Sanriku coast of the Tohoku region in March 11.
The exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 4.30pm. Call 282 630 600.
