A wine tasting presented by Algarve-based consultant and author Jack Soifer will take place at Golfland in Alvor on Friday, November 18.
The event will begin at 5.30pm and will see Jack telling tales about three vineyards and presenting six prize-winning wines from Casal Branco, Fiuza and Quinta da Lapa, as well as other “surprise” wineries.
The presentation will be led in English.
Among the confirmed guests are the Brazilian Consul in Faro, José Estanislau, and Rui Horta, Swedish Consul in the Algarve.
Jack Soifer is a Brazilian-Swedish consultant who lives in the Algarve and loves wine. He has written about wines for ABS – Association of Brazil Sommeliers and in his books, and has been a judge in the National Wine Contest (Concurso Nacional de Vinhos).
There will also be snacks and live music. Those interested in having dinner after the wine tasting will enjoy a 15% discount at the Golfland restaurant. Seats are limited.
