Israeli company to run buses in and around Aveiro

A new public passenger transport service in the Aveiro region, concessioned to Busway, which belongs to Israeli group Afifi, starts operating on August 1, with 125 drivers for 100 buses, five of which are electric. The new service, presented today, is the result of the first concession in Portugal of the Afifi group, which originated in a family business in Nazaré linked to transport, but which is currently also in tourism, real estate and commerce, writes Lusa.
