The PGA European Tour has reinstated the Madeira Open to its 2013 tournament schedule only two weeks after having announced its omission.
The venue of Portuguese and Algarve No1 Ricardo Santos’ greatest success this season will thus stage the event for the 21st time after all, returning to the Club de Golf do Santo da Serra on the new dates of May 16 to 19.
“May is the month of the Festival of Flowers,” commented club president Antonio Henriques, “a perfect time to visit the island.”
