Former first daughter of Angola, Isabel dos Santos – the key figure in the Luanda Leaks scandal (click here) – has lost her latest bid to get assets frozen in Portugal released by the courts. The Lisbon court of Appeal rejected Ms dos Santos argument that she is the victim of a political witchhunt. At issue are shares Ms dos Santos holds in this country, in Banco Eurobic, Efacec Power Solutions and NOS SGPS.
