The Prime-Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny has said that the country is determined to exit its international bailout programme before the end of 2013, highlighting the “courage” of the Irish people when facing the implemented austerity measures. In his speech marking the beginning of Ireland’s rotating six-month EU presidency, Kenny said that his country’s tenure ‘‘will be all about stability, jobs and growth”.
