From Sunday, temperatures will start “a gradual descent” all over Portugal, with the north and centre tipped to experience points where they could reach minus 5ºC. IPMA meteorological institute explains the change is due to a mass of polar air coming our way, bringing with it rain and, in certain places, snow. The creeping cold will become well installed by the end of next week. Conditions at sea are also expected to worsen from Monday.
