Investment opportunities in Morocco presented in Loulé

NEW OPPORTUNITIES for investment in Morocco will be presented today (March 10) at the NERA Auditorium, Loulé, at 5pm. The event is aimed at all business people interested in widening their activities.

In light of attractive new guidelines under a new legislation pertaining to foreign investment in Morocco, which include the provision of assistance for company set up, as well as support with regard to administrative and financial matters, this is an opportunity to inform potential investors in the Algarve of the attractive conditions that can be enjoyed in the Gharb region of Morocco. The initiative covers various sectors of economic activity, namely agriculture, tourism, fishing, civil construction, retail and administrative services.

This event comes shortly after the signing of a co-operation agreement established between the council of Tavira and the council of Kenitra (northwestern Morocco), facilitating a more direct relationship between the Algarve and the Gharb region.

Today’s presentation is jointly promoted by the Junta Metropolitana do Algarve (a body composed of the 16 Câmara Presidents of the Algarve), the Associação Empresarial da Região do Algarve (Algarve business association), and the councils of Tavira and São Brás de Alportel, in collaboration with the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in the Algarve. The presentation will be made by Jamal Attair, Director of the Regional Investment Centre of the Gharb-Charda-Béni Hssen Region.
