Portugal’s consumer watchdog DECO recommends that investors should only buy property in the country when the acquisition value is substantially lower than the average market prices. DECO claims that in the past year open-ended property funds only profited 1.5% (below the average level of inflation for that period), so money invested in property investment funds should be withdrawn.
