On a busy day for the capital with the railways on strike and journalists camping outside Campus de Justiça for news on the latest case of political corruption, PJ police and investigators from the Public Prosecutor launched a concerted swoop on Lisbon pharmacies, doctors surgeries and medical supply companies.
The swoop is part of the “Remédio Santo” investigation into fraud within the state-run health service.
