“Intolerable”: Portuguese railways react to high-speed Alfa train featuring in porno film

Parts of the action filmed in CP railway carriage, says tabloid

CP (Comboios de Portugal) has said it is “intolerable” that the name of its company has been associated with practices that go against its values and ethical principles”.

It was reacting to news that an hour-long pornographic movie was filmed “in parts” inside a CP railway carriage.

“The first minutes of the film show the female protagonist running through an Alfa Pendular train, where at one point, in the background, one can read a slogan of the institution: “We are improving the Beira Alta line.

“The most hardcore scenes do not take place in the carriage”, Correio da Manhã’s Saturday Correio Indiscreto page assures, “but it is curious that a public company appears associated with this kind of cinematographic work…”

CP was quick to disassociate itself from any consensual association.

A statement from the company has said it had “no knowledge of the realisation of any film of this nature involving our carriages, including an Alfa Pendular”.

It equally had not received any kind of prior request for authorisation for such use; had not given any authorisation and “obviously” had not received any kind of monetary gain “for the renting out or use of our carriages for the production of a film of this nature”.

CM clearly sends the whole story up, suggesting Portugal’s State railways are “getting increasingly sexy”. But truly this is not the first time a pretty woman has been filmed in a less than habitual context in an Alfa Pendular. Some years back, CP was thrown into a state of surprise by a video clip appearing online of an attractive young Brazilian woman – later identified as a belly-dancer/ aspiring actress – apparently at the controls one of their high-speed trains, saying “WOW!!” repeatedly, while clocking up speeds of 220 kms/ hour.
