Three international youth tournaments organised by the Dutch (KNVB) and the Portuguese (FPF) football associations will be played in the Algarve from February 8.
In the Under 16 tournaments (men and women), the national football teams of the Netherlands, Portugal, Austria and Scotland will participate. For the Under 17 matches, there will also be top representation: the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany and England.
The games will be played until February 17 at different football pitches in the Algarve. Every country plays an entire game with other participating countries. Entry is free.
Paul Kronenburg, from the organising committee, said: “We count on the enthusiastic support of all local football fans to encourage their national teams. We hope to meet a lot of football enthusiasts during the tournament.”
