International school to attempt world record

The International School São Lourenço (ISSL) is due to attempt a Guinness World Record for the biggest human mattress domino, on November 12 at the Algarve Stadium, Faro.

The current world record is held by BBC children’s programme Blue Peter, which accomplished a domino with 100 participants at the BBC studios in September.

ISSL is now looking to beat this record by gathering 200 people together with mattresses in the Algarve Stadium on Guinness World Records’ Day.

This event, which is being organised by the ISSL Parents and Teachers Association, is open to the whole community.

ISSL welcomes all those who wish to participate in the event Guinness Record Breakers, which is due to start form 2pm onwards in order to help achieve this goal.

To sign up for this fun event and be a part of a new world record, please email [email protected] leaving your name and contact.

All visitors are granted free access to Algarve Stadium to cheer on ISSL in their attempt to break the world record.
