Numbers in intensive care units today are down to 242 patients today, almost exactly as experts predicted they would be by ‘the middle of the month’.
Baltazar Nunes told the Infarmed meeting last Monday that numbers would be at 240 by ‘the middle of the month’ – and 120 by the end.

The last 24-hours recorded 15 deaths with Covid-19, bringing the total national death toll since March 2020 to 16,684.
