Insolvencies have been decreasing throughout the country and despite being far from the results of 2011, the numbers are better than those registered last year. According to data from the study centre of the IIC, a consulting company for credit management, the number of insolvencies up to August 18 in Portugal was placed at 3,833, underlining a 335 decrease when compared to the same period in 2012, but an increase compared to the 2,816 registered in 2011.
