A theme park in the UK is releasing a range of edible insect snacks including chocolate ant wafers, cheese and bacon flavour crickets and chocolate covered larvae for visitors to try.
Chessington World of Adventures will be asking guests to taste the creepy crawly goodies, which will go on sale in the new Asian-themed area of the park if visitors give positive feedback.
General Manager David Smith said: ‘’I have tried the sample snacks and I think if you can exercise mind over matter, you will find that they are actually quite tasty.”
He added: ‘’I think I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! has uncovered a secret desire in many of us to try eating insects, so now is your chance.”
