Injured dolphin

A dolphin that was found swimming along the Meia Praia coast in Lagos died from injuries it had sustained. According to the Maritime Authorities, the animal had several injuries believed to have been caused by fishing equipment. With the help of the beach lifeguards, the Zoomarine experts were able to reach the dolphin, however, biologist Élio Vicente told the Algarve Resident that the animal did not resist the injuries. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
